artistic creation | media | climate change | reproductive labor | informal education

I am an artist, educator, and researcher working at the intersections of care and climate. My artistic practice takes the form of persona work and collaboratively-devised theater, drawing on training from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Interlochen Arts Academy. As an educator, I have mentored, taught, and facilitated individuals and groups of people of all ages and abilities. As a multidisciplinary scholar, my work spans many fields including curriculum theory, media and cultural studies, science and technology studies, environmental humanities, and qualitative methods.

I hold a doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a masters from NYU. I’ve held positions as a Visiting Scholar at University of Cambridge, faculty at DePaul University, and ACLS Leading Edge Fellow and Senior Campaigns Researcher with American Council of Learned Societies and Caring Across Generations. I enjoy working collaboratively with a range of co-creators who bring varied experiences and expertise. This has led to arts programming, multimedia productions, and creative publications. I have written for peer-reviewed journals including Reference and User Service Quarterly, Journal of Childhood Studies, Gastronomica and Environmental Humanities.

Check out some of the projects I've helped create such as BECOMING, Bubbler, Flow, and Wayfinding.
